Privacy Policy

ArmourCore Systems Pty Ltd and its related entities as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (“ArmourCore”) respect the privacy of individuals and treats Personal Information with respect and integrity. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) sets out the way in which ArmourCore collects and handles Personal Information and complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Individually identifiable information
The types of individually identifiable information ArmourCore collects will depend on the purposes(s) for which it is collected. For example:

    • name;
    • contact details;
    • identification information;
    • historical records of communication and interaction with ArmourCore;
    • bank details;
    • details or history of preference, interests and behaviour in relation to transactions, products, services and activities on ArmourCore’s website;
    • as well as other similar Personal Information that is needed for ArmourCore to provide its goods and services.

If ArmourCore ever asks for significantly different information, we will inform you. 2. Non-identifiable information
Non-identifiable information is data that has never been labelled with individual identifiers, or information from which identifiers have been permanently removed, and by means of which no specific individual can be identified.

When a person visits ArmourCore’s website, ArmourCore’s servers may automatically record non-identifiable information that a person’s internet browser sends. This data may include:

    • webpage visited before coming to ArmourCore’s website;
    • the pages visited within ArmourCore’s website;

Non-identifiable information is collected for analysis and evaluation in order to help improve ArmourCore’s customer’s experience, and the goods and services provided by ArmourCore. This data will not be used in association with any other Personal Information.

Generally, a person can deal with ArmourCore anonymously (i.e. without providing individually identifiable information). However, by doing any of the following a person consents to the collection of their Personal Information by ArmourCore in accordance with this Privacy Policy:

    a) Providing Individually identifiable information via the ArmourCore website;
    b) Interacting or following social media accounts managed by ArmourCore (such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram);
    c) Registering on ArmourCore’s website;
    d) Logging in to ArmourCore’s website;
    e) Placing an order with ArmourCore;
    f) Contacting and communicating with ArmourCore;
    g) Applying for a job with ArmourCore;
    h) Submitting feedback, enquires or comments;
    i) Entering into an agreement with ArmourCore; or
    j) Any other method of collection as determined by ArmourCore from time to time.

By doing any of the above, a person also consents to ArmourCore collecting Personal Information from:

    a) Third parties such as our related entities, business or commercial partners; and
    b) Publicly available sources of information.
4. How we hold your Personal Information
ArmourCore may store Personal Information in hard copy or electronic format, in facilities that ArmourCore owns and operates, or that are owned and operated by ArmourCore’s service providers. ArmourCore takes the privacy and security of Personal Information seriously and uses a number of procedures and processes to ensure, where possible, the security and integrity of Personal Information.

ArmourCore protects Personal Information by:

    a) Restricting access to Personal Information;
    b) Maintaining technology products to prevent unauthorised computer access;
    c) Securely destroying Personal Information when it is no longer needed for record retention purposes.

To further secure credit card details, ArmourCore does not keep details of credit card information.

5. Use of Personal Information
ArmourCore may use Personal Information for a range of purposes including the following:

    a) to provide products and services;
    b) to create orders, transaction records, agreements for the sale of products or services, accounts, tax invoices or receipts;
    c) Processing and delivering of orders, including fraud prevention;
    d) to answer questions and provide information regarding ArmourCore’s goods and services;
    e) to provide better customer services;
    f) to perform research and analysis;
    g) assisting the offering of products and services by ArmourCore, contractors, agents and/or employees;
    h) processing of job applications and the provision of information relevant to an application;
    i) communicating promotional offers, marketing information or special events;
    j) responding to feedback, ratings, comments, complaints and enquiries; and
    k) using for administrative, marketing, planning, quality control, employment performance review, service or product development purposes.
    l) to comply with laws or regulations, or to comply with any directions given by regulators or authorities.

You may advise ArmourCore if you do not wish to receive any marketing information from ArmourCore.

6. Disclosure of Personal Information
ArmourCore may disclose personal information to third parties to provide the services and/or perform the functions ArmourCore requires to operate. This includes:

    a) to assist ArmourCore in providing goods and services a person has requested, such as delivery service providers and fulfilment managers;
    b) to comply with legal requirements, such as, fraud prevention regulation;
    c) conduct market research and marketing strategy analysis; and
    d) manage or develop business strategies and functions.
7. Access to, Protection and Destruction of Personal Information

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), upon a person’s request, ArmourCore will provide the details of the Personal Information ArmourCore holds on that person.

A person can update their Personal Information anytime by accessing ArmourCore’s website or by contacting ArmourCore.

8. Complaints Procedure

If a person wishes to make a complaint about a breach of this Privacy Policy or the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) by ArmourCore, please lodge a complaint by contacting ArmourCore.

9. Disclaimer

No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure. ArmourCore will take reasonable steps to protect Personal information. However, ArmourCore cannot guarantee the security of any information (personal or other) transmitted to us. Therefore, ArmourCore will not be liable for any breach of security or unintended loss or disclosure of information due to the ArmourCore’s systems being linked to the Internet.

10. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions for use of ArmourCore’s website and forms part of the Agreement between a Purchaser and ArmourCore for the purchase of goods. ArmourCore may, from time to time, amended this Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, in ArmourCore’s sole discretion. Any change to this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised policy on ArmourCore’s website.

ArmourCore may announce a change to this Privacy Policy on its website or by email. In any event, by continuing to use ArmourCore’s website following any change to this Policy, a person will be deemed to have agreed to such changes.
